Fireworks to celebrate National Day

Hong Kong marked National Day on Tuesday with a raft of activities as the city went all out to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on October 1.

At Tamar Park in Admiralty, many arrived hours early in anticipation of a fireworks show.

A drone show, however, was cancelled for the second night in a row.

Hong Kong marked the launch of WinterFest, a Christmas-themed display in the West Kowloon Cultural District, with a 10-minute fireworks display over Victoria Harbour on November 22nd.
